Chez Bruce Private Dining Room Terms & Conditions

1. Confirmation & Deposit

All bookings are provisional until a deposit of £500 has been paid. This will be deducted from the bill on the day of the event. If your reservation is provisional and we receive an enquiry from another party for the same date, we will offer 24 hours for the deposit to be paid; otherwise we will cancel your reservation and offer it to the other party. Please note that by paying the deposit you are accepting the terms and conditions as laid out here.

2. Menus, Prices & Drinks

There is a minimum spend requirement for our private dining room. This is £1,750 excluding service charge for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays and £1,250 excluding service charge for all other times. The three-course menu is priced at £85 per head excluding service for lunch and at £125 per head excluding service for dinner. Please note, we reserve the right to increase the menu price without notice. The menu prices are for food only and all drinks and other extras will be charged accordingly. The menu will include canapés and will offer a choice of three starters, main courses and desserts to include Chez Bruce classic and favourite dishes. The menu will be available prior to the event date.

3. Dining Numbers

Private dining is suitable for parties of up to a maximum of 14 guests. Final numbers and table plans must be confirmed no less than 72 hours prior to the event.

4. Dining Times

The restaurant opens at midday for lunch and at 6pm for dinner. Please note that the room must be vacated by 4.30pm for lunch and by 11.30pm for dinner.

5. Cancellation

For cancellations made in writing more than ten days in advance of the event, the deposit will be refunded in full. We reserve the right to keep the deposit after this time.

6. Flowers

We do not order flowers or table decorations on your behalf. You are welcome to have these delivered by a third party, but we can not be held accountable for the these.

7. Invoicing & Accounts; Gratuity & VAT

All bills must be settled in full on the day and by one person, unless by prior arrangement. We do not offer customer accounts, or company invoicing. Service Charge at 15% will be added to the full bill and all prices include VAT.

8. Loss & Damage

We can not be held accountable for any loss or damage to items left in our care.
